So make sure that number matches up with the current imageres.dll file your system is currently using, failing to check file versions of any system files that you intend to modify\replace\tweak can make your system unstable. The File version of the imageres.dll I'm including in the archive is. The extra 183 or so icons that were left unused are included inside the 7z archive in case anybody finds some use for them. There is about 183 extra icons in the Win10 version of the file that doesn't coincide with anything in Windows 7 so therefore I only replaced all the existing icons in the Windows 7 version with the exact icons that matched up from the Windows 10 dll. Included inside the 7z archive of the icons, I included a patched copy of the imageres.dll that I spent the time manually changing every icon group that exists in the Windows 7 version of the file with it's matched up replacement icon group that exist in the Windows 10 version of imageres.dll. This is taken from the current build of Windows 10's imageres.dll file located in C:\Windows\System32 directory.įor integrity and\or verification purposes
